Should I take an online course in UX/UI design to improve my chances of getting hired? Or do I really have to get a degree?

I’m a generic graphic designer with basic/intermediate UX/UI experience, but I am not quite invested in it as a career option. However, lots of companies are hiring for UX/UI designers. I am wondering if I would fare better during the job hunt if I have some form of degree or certificate in UX/UI design.

What do you use or recommend to get some type of in-depth training in the world of user experience and user interface design?

I’m currently looking into this:

But I’d like to listen to y’all first for any helpful advice, links or resources.

Thanks!
